Responsibilities:
Must live in or near Houston Texas Regional Area
Including but not limited to:
- Follow all Safety, Fleet and DOT policies and guidelines.
- Selling product to customer to fill sections, displays, endcaps, etc.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all existing and possible new clients/customers.
- Driving company vehicle from location to location to service stores, warehouse, etc.
- Unloading/reloading product needed for stores from offsite warehouse location.
- Communicate daily with company management on reports, sales opportunities, daily sales, transactions, any needs/request, and upcoming opportunities.
- Start from home, service all customers by day according to weekly receiving sheet, visit with customers on possible sales increase opportunities.
- Visit offsite warehouse location daily and load company truck for all product needs.
- Performing regular truck inspections and notify DM for major maintenance issues.
- Issues with Handheld equipment not working properly, you must contact IT and notify DM immediately.
- All customers must have full-sales service calls according to frequency needs.
- All Employees must follow all FFT guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Make one last communication call at the end of the day with DM for any potential sales for upcoming days.
- Upload/communicate sales transaction with the handheld equipment every day after the last call to the DM.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requirements: High school diploma with post high school studies preferred
- Able to work independently, effectively plan and make good business decisions in the absence of direct supervision/ business office
- Pass and Maintain a DOT Medical Physical and DOT Medical Card with a minimum of 1yr renewal
- Must be able to drive a DOT certified truck up to 16' in length
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- Experience in Direct Sales Delivery (DSD)
- Ability to travel
- Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Highly motivated leadership skills
