Sub-Chapter Lead GBPS

As Sub-Chapter Lead GBPS for Travel & Expense, you will be responsible for the people and resource management of your business process management sub-chapter team, consisting of Global Business Process Specialists (GBPS). Reporting to the Global Business Process Owner, you will closely collaborate with Global Business Process Managers and stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of the end-to-end BPM strategy for Roche’s corporate travel, expense, and credit card management processes, services, and solutions.
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
Actively pursue the implementation of the E2E BPM strategy for Travel & Expense (T&E).
Accountable and responsible for the resource and people management of the sub-chapter, providing functional line management for Global Business Process Specialists (GBPS).
Work closely with Global Business Process Managers and the GBPS network to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
Ensure program management for strategic projects and global governance initiatives in corporate travel, expense, and credit card management, contributing to the end-to-end T&E strategy and portfolio roadmap.
Foster new ways of working, acting as a coach and catalyst for the global network.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or an equivalent and relevant degree. You bring at least 7 years of work experience and are strong in finance controlling and finance business process design and optimization. Experience in Business Process Management, Finance, Information Management, IT, or Procurement functions is preferred. Professional experience in an advisory/consulting function with a focus on business process management is a plus.
As the ideal candidate, you bring the following competencies and experience:
Recognised for servant leadership behavior and VACC (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst) leadership.
Proven leadership experience in both line and matrix functions.
Deep knowledge of Travel & Expense business processes and technical expertise in SAP FI/CO and SAP Concur.
Strong methodological skills (e.g., BPM, Six Sigma, Agile, Lean), preferably with certification.
Agile mindset with the ability to integrate agile concepts into daily work.
Strong collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with a proven customer-centric mindset.
Excellent people management, coaching skills, and experience managing multicultural teams, along with strong organisational change and project management skills in matrix structures.
