We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive high-quality leads for our sales team, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the lead generation process, be data-driven, and possess a strong ability to analyze and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels.
Lead Generation Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive lead generation strategies that align with business goals and target customer segments. Identify and prioritize key channels for lead acquisition, including but not limited to digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and partnerships.
Own the MQL target for the company, driving leads and tracking results to ensure the optimum strategy to meet our business objectives.
Campaign Development: Design, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads. Work closely with content, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and optimized user experiences across all touchpoints.
Data Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including conversion rates, cost-per-lead, and ROI. Use insights to continuously refine and optimize campaigns, ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead Nurturing: Develop and implement lead nurturing strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of leads and consistent communication throughout the customer journey.
Technology and Tools: Own the implementation of our tech stack for top of funnel including Salesforce, Gong, and Apollo, to track lead generation efforts and optimize campaigns. Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of lead data within the CRM.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create and distribute high-value content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, webinars) that attracts and engages potential leads. Ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligned with lead generation goals.
Budget Management: Manage lead generation budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize lead volume and quality. Provide regular reports on budget performance and campaign ROI to senior management.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor and guide regional marketing team members in lead generation best practices. Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on lead generation goals and strategies. Partner with business area marketing team for brand, content, and digital communication capabilities.
Market Research: Conduct regular market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging lead generation techniques. Apply findings to enhance the company’s lead generation strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
7-10+ years of experience in lead generation and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable results
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
