About the Role
A production company specialising in corporate interviews is seeking a skilled Video Editor / Post-Production Specialist to handle multiple hours of interview footage. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with experience in syncing video and audio, organising large amounts of footage, and creating polished final edits.
Responsibilities:
- Sync high-quality video footage (Blackmagic 4K BRAW, 60fps) with separate audio WAV files
- Organise and categorise footage by interviewee name within editing software
- Edit out unnecessary content, including interview questions and mistakes
- Create 1080p reference exports with accompanying text transcripts
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly with corporate or interview content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video and audio sync techniques
- Familiarity with Blackmagic camera formats, particularly BRAW
- Experience working with 4K footage and creating 1080p exports
- Ability to create basic text transcripts of video content
