What You Will Do:

  • Stakeholders include a team of engineers and data scientists. Enable the team with data acquisition, performance tuning and data processing.
  • Builds data pipelines focusing on data ingestion, integration, modeling, optimization, and quality for AI processing. Architects and launches new data models (marts, lakes, stores, hubs). Optimizes costs, storage, processing, and access to integrated data.
  • Explores data for pattern detection prior to algorithm development. Prepares and pre-processes data utilized in algorithms. Ensures data is formatted and cleansed for AI processing.
  • Designs and develops data services for AI. Provides data to the team and enterprise toward the end goal of adopting AI.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will utilize and learn core AI/ML Data engineering principles
  • Communicating design and solutions to stakeholders
  • Building and deploying solutions in an Agile team

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Hands-on knowledge building and operating AI/ML platforms.
  • Knowledge in environments that use data to support artificial intelligence and/or machine learning is desired.
  • Proficiency in tools used to manage data throughout its lifecycle, especially tools that are applicable to large, complex, and distributed organizations.
  • Show an understanding of cloud-based (e.g., AWS, Azure) technology for developing data solutions. Includes automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (Git, Docker, Jenkins).

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
