You will be working on a design and development project for one of our financial services clients, and it is a great opportunity to make a mark on an amazing digital product and drive customer experience change for our client and their customers.

Responsibilities

  • Determining the product scope and working with the PM to ensure it fits within the constraints of the project scope
  • Eliciting and documenting requirements (business, customer, technical) as they emerge, and refining them as they become better understood or more information becomes available
  • Maintaining requirements traceability throughout the project
  • Work alongside UX and UI designers to ensure the requirements are embodied in the user experience
  • Facilitate technical feasibility of the designs to ensure delivery within constraints established by the Project Manager
  • Participating in the design and running of engaging client workshops, as required during the project
  • Helping the Project Manager communicate any adjustments to the product scope to stakeholders in order to maintain buy-in
  • Communicating the product scope to the development team via the product backlog (Epics, Features, User Stories, documented to the appropriate level of detail)
  • Supporting the development team during the Agile development process, acting as proxy product owner to ensure tickets are sized appropriately, sprint backlogs are created, and maintaining overview of sprint progress
  • Facilitating or leading agile ceremonies as required during the project
  • Supporting the client with any necessary training and producing required training materials
  • Work proactively with your account team and department head to manage your own workload and prevent over or under-utilisation

Requirements

This is a senior role and you will be expected to hit the ground running on the project.

  • Experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) on digital product design and delivery projects
  • Experience working with financial services clients and pensions products is desirable
  • Experience in eliciting, documenting and prioritising requirements from all relevant sources
  • Experience breaking UX and design artefacts down for delivery by a technical team
  • Experience working with design and development teams undertaking technical feasibility
  • Experience and familiarity with front and back-end development and QA processes
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Miro, Google Suite, Slack and Teams are essential
  • Experience with Figma and Airtable are highly desirable
  • A strong understanding of digital technology, systems integration and implementation
  • Experience creating and owning a backlog of user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience leading a technical Scrum through a sprint lifecycle
  • Strong written skills for presentation and written report creation
  • Strong client relationship management and presentation skills (this is a client facing role)
  • Previous consultancy or large agency experience is preferred
