• Project Coordination (Novice): Reviews specific project related documents for completeness and accuracy and ensures project status reports are received, when due, from project managers for all approved projects. Provides administrative and logistics support for various project meetings, training, workshops and facilitated sessions. Coordinates and tracks all work requests to ensure on time project delivery. Keeps project plans updated and ensures key milestones and dependencies are understood. Responsible for record keeping for project meetings such as issues logs, gap analysis sheets, meeting minutes, making copies, team event planning and execution, team travel, on-boarding activities for contractors or consultants, set up and maintenance of project repositories.
• Product Knowledge (Novice): Understands the product in relation to other company products. Has general knowledge of the competition for the product in the marketplace. Understands the product life cycle from development through sales and customer support. Can describe product features and benefits using key product terminology.
• Emerging Technologies (Novice): Stays abreast of new technology as it applies to project and departmental systems and architecture. Is aware of technological trends and new products and tools which can improve the effectiveness of systems and products. Able to successfully investigate, evaluate and recommend new technology to meet requirements of state-of-the-art systems and projects. Attends industry seminars and forums.
• Product Vendor Management (Novice): Serves as the primary contact for production issue notification, escalation and resolution with vendors' Is familiar with all aspects of the contract process. Can work with the necessary departments [e.g., Purchasing, Legal] to guide a contract through this process. Is familiar with the Request for Information and Request for Proposal process. Has worked in the development and execution of several consulting, training, software and hardware contracts. Communicates to vendors any changes that may impact them or the relationship throughout the contract life.
• IT Portfolio Management (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate IT Portfolio Management in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
