About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled mixing and mastering engineer for an ongoing music project. This opportunity offers a chance to work with an emerging artist on refining and polishing their vocal recordings. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in audio engineering to elevate the quality of the tracks and help realize the artist's creative vision. This is a remote position with flexible hours, perfect for an experienced professional looking to take on additional projects.
Responsibilities:
- Mix vocal recordings to achieve optimal sound quality and balance
- Apply appropriate effects and processing to enhance the vocal tracks
- Ensure consistency across multiple recordings
- Master the mixed tracks to industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in mixing and mastering, particularly with vocal-focused tracks
- Strong technical skills with industry-standard audio software
- Excellent ear for detail and ability to enhance vocal performances
- Understanding of various music genres and contemporary production techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
