We seek a Customer Care Engineer with solid IT and customer service skills who is interested in providing top notch customer support to our clients. This is a remote position for our company that is headquartered in the USA, and requires someone who is energetic and wants to be involved in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will be responsible for the following key functions:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure customers and distributors receive adequate level of support, to include technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone, remote and other electronic medium.
- Assist with medical imaging software and hardware implementations for new customers.
- Manage product setup as well as provide product presentations to customers and visitors.
- Develops, refines, and tunes integrations between applications.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.
- Ensures software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to solve complex problems related to PACS software implementation, upgrades and compatibility/bug issues;
- Knowledge in Healthcare imaging Standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE)
- Ability to prioritize and delegate urgent quality tasks in order to meet business requirements and deadlines;
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment to present strategic planning on time;
- Strong relationship-development skills, which result in long-term, mutually beneficial vendor and client relationships;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a healthcare IT Technical Support role including the development, analysis, and implementation of PACS and medical IT software;
- Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to understand and express complex issues and solutions.
- BA/BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, computer science or related discipline or the combination of education and experience.
