A FIN Functional Analyst is a professional who specializes in the functional analysis of financial systems within the Shared Business Operations (SBO). Their primary responsibility is to understand the financial processes flows and configuration of a new Oracle Fusion implementation of GL, FA, CM, Projects and SCM.
This role will work with the various Finance teams across the organization and partner with various cross-functional teams on issue resolution. This role will be responsible for reviewing quarterly product releases, production, and enhancements requests. Additionally, this role may collaborate with the Enterprise Application team on technical design of integration with current legacy applications. This role also interacts to assure the company complies with industry controls and compliance policies as well as help maintain training and process flow documents.

Requirements:
- Three (3) or more years in Oracle Fusion FIN modules (GL, FA, CM, and Projects)
- Three (3) or more years of configuration and support experience in Oracle Fusion PPM, SLA, BIP , OTBI
- Minimum two (2) full lifecycle implementation in at least 2 of the 3 Fusion Finance modules; GL, FA and Projects.
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in financial analysis or business analysis roles.
- Above average techno-functional skill set in Oracle Fusion FIN modules (GL, FA, CM, and Projects)
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of processes related to month end /year end book close , reconciliation and consolidation process
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent insight and practical knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and the various Oracle products and services.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Google Suite
- Education:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
Preferred:
- Oracle Fusion FCCS and/or ARCS
- Healthcare experience
- Certification: Oracle Cloud Financials certifications
- Computer Skills: Google Suite and ServiceNow
About the Opportunity:
- Serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Fusion accounting flows in P2P leading up to recording in Oracle Fusion GL
- Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions around GL, FA ,CM and Projects
- Collaborate with users to identify gaps, capture and map business requirements to Oracle ERP Cloud functionality, and development of solutions.
- Configure Oracle ERP Cloud to meet Business Requirements
- Perform and Lead Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in Financial modules
- Assist with Data conversion activities for the Finance functions in GL, Fixed Assets, Budgets and be knowledgeable in MDM
- Production support on day-to-day Finance functions and engaging with business SMEs.
- Work with MDM, Security , Integration and Reporting team on cross functional issues
- Managing and prioritizing tickets from users with problem management and root cause analysis by providing application and technical support and engaging Oracle Support if needed.
- Build and assist with periodic /yearly reporting, month end closings, consolidation and reconciliation activities.
- Manage all Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Cloud operations to coordinate and complete any Administration tasks.
- Works with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
- Monitors and communicates system performance metrics
- Change Management: Collaborate with change management teams to ensure smooth adoption of new financial systems or process changes. Develop training materials, user guides, and communication plans to facilitate the transition.
