About the Role

A creative project seeks an experienced motion graphics artist to transform a static Japanese vending machine scene into a short, atmospheric animation. The project focuses on bringing life to a nighttime setting through lighting effects and environmental animation. This is a short-term project with immediate start availability.

Responsibilities

• Convert existing PSD layers into an animated sequence
• Create smooth lighting transitions and effects
• Animate environmental elements (grass movement)
• Develop flickering light effects for the vending machine
• Maintain the original artwork's aesthetic
• Implement atmospheric effects appropriate for nighttime setting

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation and motion graphics
• Portfolio showcasing anime-style animation work
• Proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop
• Experience working with layered PSD files
• Strong understanding of lighting and environmental animation
• Technical expertise in creating particle and glow effects
• Ability to create smooth, natural movement in background elements
