REMOTE Merchandise Planner Description

Our client, a leader in the global apparel industry, is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Planner with expertise in data analysis and visualization to join their remote team based in Orange County, California. In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning, create engaging data dashboards, and extract insights that drive impactful decisions. The ideal candidate is a connector, adept at fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse strengths, and promoting a culture of unity and forward momentum. You’ll manage up to 12 prominent accounts, developing both pre-season and in-season forecasts, meeting contract sales targets, and delivering weekly financial reports for licensors. REMOTE Merchandise Planner Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage pre-season and in-season financial forecasts

• Ensure alignment with company goals

• Build data dashboards

  • Visualize trends and communicate key insights
    • Use forecasting tools to identify opportunities and proactively address challenges
    • Collaborate with Sales, Licensing, and Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment
    • Support a culture of unity by fostering effective cross-functional partnerships

REMOTE Merchandise Planner Qualifications

  • 3+ years of data-driven planning/analysis experience required
    • Experience in the apparel, footwear, or home goods industry required
    • Experience with promotional orders, categories, and replenishments required
    • Advanced Excel guru experience required (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
