The Performance Marketing Director will work primarily with our Marketing & Analytics team, the leader in helping sports teams, venues, and entertainment companies market their events and increase revenue. From email marketing to digital advertising and database analysis, industry leaders such as Madison Square Garden, New York Jets, Fanatics Events, and Foxwoods Casino Resort rely on Leap’s Marketing & Analytics expertise to turn their customers into loyal fans.

As a Performance Marketing Director, you will build out and oversee a team of experts designing and executing paid ad campaigns for some of the world’s biggest events and most iconic brands. You will be responsible for hiring a lean but mighty team, delivering client success through performance marketing, reporting, and strategy, plus campaign development and optimization.

AS A PERFORMANCE MARKETING DIRECTOR, YOU WILL:

  • Focus on client success through performance marketing that drives ROI

  • Hire and manage a team of stellar digital marketers

  • Provide industry expertise and guidance around emerging trends and best practices

  • Develop and manage paid search strategy and implementation

  • Develop and manage paid digital and social strategy gameplans

  • Analyze campaign results and proactively provide recommendations to clients

  • Present campaign plans and reports on a regular basis

  • Consult on campaign creative elements

  • Introduce additional marketing campaign strategies outside traditional performance marketing channels

  • From time to time, advise on Leap’s performance marketing activities

OFFICE INFORMATION:

Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!

If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing (preferably focused on ticket sales)

  • Ideally, has experience working in sports or live event industry

  • Agency experience is preferred but not required

  • Experience leading a team

  • Experience managing a variety of concurrent projects

  • Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing

  • Passion for the social media and digital content space and an understanding of how consumers engage with and consume content on the various platforms

  • Excellent reporting and analysis skills
