Key Responsibilities:
Data Input & Management: Accurately enter, update, and maintain information into company databases or software systems. Ensure data is organized and easily accessible for future use.
Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, cross-checking entries against source documents to identify discrepancies.
Database Maintenance: Perform regular audits of databases and records to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
Document Handling: Handle and process various types of documentation, including forms, invoices, and reports, ensuring they are properly filed and stored.
Reporting: Generate routine reports based on the data entered, summarizing findings or offering insights as needed by team members or management.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to clarify data discrepancies, obtain missing information, or streamline data-related processes.
Adherence to Deadlines: Meet deadlines for data entry tasks, ensuring a steady flow of information for business operations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required; further certifications or coursework in data management or administration is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in data, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
Typing Speed & Accuracy: Minimum typing speed of 40-50 words per minute, with a high degree of accuracy.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or other relevant data entry software. Familiarity with databases and data management systems is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
Experience: Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field is preferred but not required.
