Work Schedule: Somewhat flexible; 35-40 hours per week.
Ideally working US Timezone hours, but can be flexible e.g. starting earlier than East Coast 9 AM would be ok. Ok for some work to be done on weekends, etc, if desired.

Job Description
As a Personal and Professional Executive Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting a founding partner of this forward-thinking VC firm. This position offers a rare blend of professional and personal support tasks, providing you with a 360-degree view of the venture capital ecosystem and the life of a top executive. You’ll be at the heart of streamlining operations, managing high-level communications, and ensuring the smooth functioning of both business and personal affairs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a passion for technology and startups, and excels at multitasking and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex and high-volume email inbox, prioritizing and responding to critical communications
- Oversee calendar management, including scheduling investor meetings and coordinating with startup founders
- Handle travel arrangements for international business trips, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries
- Assist with personal task management such as bill payments, insurance matters, and health claim submissions
- Coordinate logistics for the executive’s upcoming relocation to Europe
- Provide basic research and support for venture capital operations and potential investments
- Manage confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism
- Assist in organizing and preparing materials for board meetings and investor presentations
- Liaise with key stakeholders in the tech and investment community on behalf of the executive
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional and articulate demeanor
- Proficiency in email management tools, calendar applications, and basic office software
- Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial and personal information
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and time zones
- Basic understanding of or strong interest in the venture capital or tech startup ecosystem
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
- Comfort with remote work and ability to maintain productivity in a virtual environment
- Willingness to occasionally handle tasks outside of standard business hours when necessary
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- Someone who has a background in research and/or writing would be helpful
