About the Role
A film project is seeking a VFX Artist for a short-term engagement to create realistic fire effects for an automotive cinematic sequence. This specialized role focuses on seamlessly integrating computer-generated flames with existing footage of a stationary vehicle.

Core Responsibilities:

• Create photorealistic fire simulations and particle effects
• Integrate CGI flames with live-action footage
• Match lighting and environmental conditions of the original footage
• Ensure proper object interaction between flames and vehicle

Requirements

• Proven experience in fire/particle simulation for film or commercial projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating realistic fire effects and compositing work
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software (such as Houdini, Maya, or similar)
• Experience in compositing software (Nuke, After Effects, or similar)
• Understanding of real-world fire behavior and physics
• Ability to match CGI elements with live-action footage
