We are seeking a skilled mid-senior Product UI Designer who seamlessly integrates visual and user experience design into cohesive, user-centric products. You will be part of our UX team and should excel at applying design principles, building a Design System, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating based on feedback and data insights.
- Lead, refine, and maintain a scalable Design System that ensures consistency across our products.
- Update and document components, interactions, and guidelines to facilitate ease of use for the design and engineering teams.
- Ensure all UI elements meet WCAG standards and collaborate with developers to address any technical accessibility challenges.
- Build interactive prototypes that communicate complex workflows, animations, and transitions.
- Participate in Design Thinking workshops and work closely with front-end developers to ensure the seamless execution of design solutions.
Requirements
Hard Skills:
- Proven experience working as a UX/UI designer for more than 3+ years in Digital products and services.
- Strong understanding of Design systems, and interactive prototyping.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (this is a must-have skill).
- Experience with WCAG accessibility guidelines and you can apply them to digital products.
- HTML/CSS/JS knowledge (definite plus).
Soft Skills:
- Great attention to detail with an empathetic approach to user-centred design, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- You can clearly communicate the reasoning behind your design choices, design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams.
- Experience with creating, scaling, and maintaining Design Systems for complex products with knowledge of component-driven design.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and feel comfortable participating in workshops with your colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Team spirit, positive attitude, and willingness to work as part of a team.
Nice to have:
- BSc in Design, UI-related degree/certification, or relevant field (definite plus),
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process,
- Experience with A/B testing,
- Exposure to whiteboarding tools like Miro or FigJam and feeling comfortable facilitating workshops,
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and problem-solving skills,
- Experience in motion Design graphics and motion principles.
