We are seeking a Social Media Ads Specialist to join our marketing team and drive paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, with a deep understanding of social media advertising strategies, optimization techniques, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing paid campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, generate leads, and achieve business goals.
The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual who can craft compelling ad copy, design visually engaging creatives, and analyze campaign performance to maximize ROI. You will work closely with other marketing and design teams to execute end-to-end paid social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) aligned with business objectives and target audiences.
Define campaign objectives (e.g., lead generation, brand awareness, website traffic, sales conversions) and create strategies to achieve them.
Work closely with creative teams to develop engaging ad creatives, including visuals, copy, and video content that resonates with target audiences.
Audience Targeting & Segmentation:
Use audience insights and data to define and refine target segments for paid campaigns.
Implement advanced targeting strategies, including interest-based, behavioral, demographic, and lookalike audiences.
Continuously optimize audience targeting based on performance data to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Campaign Optimization & A/B Testing:
Monitor, analyze, and optimize ad campaigns regularly to maximize performance, adjusting ad creatives, budgets, targeting, and bidding strategies.
Conduct A/B testing for various ad elements (headlines, ad copy, images, CTA buttons, etc.) to identify the best-performing combinations.
Implement retargeting and remarketing strategies to re-engage users who have interacted with previous campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and report on campaign performance using key metrics (CPC, CPM, CTR, ROI, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance and meet KPIs.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Budget Management:
Manage campaign budgets across various platforms, ensuring efficient allocation of spend for maximum impact.
Monitor ad spend and adjust bids to ensure that campaigns stay within budget while still achieving performance goals.
Provide budget recommendations based on campaign performance and overall marketing objectives.
Platform Expertise & Staying Up-to-Date:
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media advertising, ensuring campaigns are leveraging the most effective and current strategies.
Continuously explore new social media platforms and advertising features to identify new opportunities for growth.
Share insights and educate the team about emerging trends, platform updates, and new features on social media channels.
Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with the content, design, and branding teams to ensure that paid social ads align with the overall brand messaging and marketing goals.
Collaborate with product teams to promote new products or features effectively through targeted social media campaigns.
Partner with analytics and SEO teams to track traffic and conversions coming from social media ads to ensure integration with overall digital marketing efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience managing paid social media campaigns, preferably in a B2C or e-commerce setting.
Proven track record of success in driving measurable results through paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
In-depth knowledge of social media advertising tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads).
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, targeting, and optimization techniques.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in social media ad platforms and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Insights, etc.).
Experience with A/B testing, ad copywriting, and design best practices.
Familiarity with tools for creative asset management, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design software.
Ability to work with Excel or Google Sheets to analyze and present data effectively.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret data to make informed decisions.
Experience in optimizing paid campaigns for ROI, using data to continuously improve performance.
Ability to evaluate the performance of campaigns and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Creative & Communication Skills:
Strong copywriting skills for crafting compelling ad copy that drives engagement and conversions.
Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ad concepts that stand out on social media platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present campaign performance and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with video ad creation and optimization for social platforms (e.g., Instagram Stories, TikTok videos, Facebook Video Ads).
Familiarity with Google Ads and cross-platform digital marketing strategies (paid search, display ads, etc.).
Experience in managing ads for e-commerce businesses or product-based campaigns.
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and influencer marketing as part of an integrated digital marketing strategy.
Certification in Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, or similar marketing certifications is a plus.
