Who We Are:

At VML, we are a beacon of innovation and growth in an ever-evolving world. Our heritage is built upon a century of combined expertise, where creativity meets technology, and diverse perspectives ignite inspiration. With the merger of VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson, we have forged a new path as a growth partner that is part creative agency, part consultancy, and part technology powerhouse.

Our global family now encompasses over 30,000 employees across 150+ offices in 64 markets, each contributing to a culture that values connection, belonging, and the power of differences. Our expertise spans the entire customer journey, offering deep insights in communications, commerce, consultancy, CRM, CX, data, production, and technology. We deliver end-to-end solutions that result in revolutionary work.

We are VML Enterprise Solutions - a group of talented engineers, tech experts, and creators who combine our passions and contribute to the IT world. You may know us better as Wunderman Thompson Technology – in 2024 we changed our name, but at the same time, we remained a great team of people who deliver our best. We design, build, manage and run complex technology platforms and help our clients to benefit from our work and creativity.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is ideal for a creative individual who excels in both user experience and user interface design and is eager to craft exceptional online experiences that drive engagement and conversion. You will be at the forefront of digital design, working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to create impactful solutions for a diverse range of clients and projects.

What you'll get to do:

You will work on an innovative workspace platform that provides access to AI-powered tools and data, enabling users to harness collective creative power. This platform features a marketplace of curated applications designed to increase productivity and streamline workflows across media, production, brand management, commerce, creative processes, customer experience, PR, and data analysis.

Your passion for both UX/UI design drives you to find smarter ways of creating outstanding online experiences across various products, services, sectors, devices, and channels. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional shopper experiences while continually seeking to innovate and improve. Your proactive learning attitude and eagerness to share knowledge make you a valuable team player who contributes positively to the collective effort.

You understand the critical role of bridging the gap between UX and UI. With a strong user-first mindset, you possess the maturity and initiative to ensure client satisfaction, including the flexibility to work on-site with clients when needed. Your ability to integrate user experience insights with visual design elements helps create engaging and conversion-focused interfaces. Above all, you are dedicated to contributing to the continual improvement of design quality and user experience, knowing that when our clients succeed, we succeed.

What we want from you:

  • Create design artefacts including wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI elements.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
  • Communicate and justify design decisions to internal teams and clients, including C-Suite executives.
  • Develop and apply design systems, adhering to user-centred design practices, conversion principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design quality and user experience through iterative design, research, and feedback integration.
  • Engage with clients directly, including on-site interactions, to understand their needs and ensure client satisfaction.

In return, this is what you can expect from us:

  • Fully remote job as well as possibility to visit our offices in Budapest
  • Opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands all around the world
  • International projects
  • Diverse teams (in 2023 our office has the the 'Most diverse Company' special award in the Loveable Workplace competition)
