What’s the opportunity? We are looking for a talented professional to support the IT organization on a variety of cross-functional needs and projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter IT oriented professional, with excellent project management and problem solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments and ensures project advancement by balancing persistence with a collaborative and respectful approach.
What will I be doing?
- Project Management responsibilities:
- Manage large technical projects that require coordination of various IT and non IT areas, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Create detailed plans for including objectives, KPIs, deadlines, risk assessment, quality and performance standards, and resource allocation needs
- Monitor project progress, evaluate project performance, report project outcomes and escalate risks and issues as necessary
- Define team best practices, processes and tools for large cross functional processes
- Design and standardize development flows and project management documentation
- Create summaries, status reports and presentations for different stakeholders
- Define project meeting cadence and agenda, and conduct meetings
- IT/Product pipeline management responsibilities:
- Be in constant interaction with the IT/Product heads and VPs to manage and track the pipeline. Take part in the definition of a medium and long term roadmap
- Manage and track resource allocation, by working closely with VPs in IT and Product to understand project requirements. Coordinate with internal teams to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project
- Assess and re prioritize needs from different teams across dLocal, and adjust IT/Product pipeline and resourcing as needed
- Ensure pipeline is aligned to higher level company priorities and goals
- Create reports, summaries and presentations for company’s senior managers and C-level
- Use Jira / project management tools to track pipeline performance and schedule adherence
- Define best practices for Jira use across all company areas
What skills do I need?
- 5+ years experience in Software Project Management
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience working with Jira
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced skill set in time management and task prioritization
- Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Strong data analysis skills, using excel and BI tools
- Experience working with Looker is desirable
