Full Stack Tech Lead

This is a remote position.

KIS is looking for a talented Tech Lead who is aiming to work on an IT project, working on the maintenance and improvement of a big and complex data pipeline. This opportunity has high visibility and high growth so it is key to have diverse experiences in various areas of computing like data management, reports creation, support, backend API development, cloud computing, as well as team and client management experience to be successful in this role. Main Responsibilities:

- Lead a team working on large and complex systems;
- Establish a deep knowledge of the structure and business meaning of a complex and challenging data landscape;
- Do/enable architecture design of solutions
- Be a technical expert able to support the team and unblock work;
- Have strong communication and partnership skills as you work within your own team, with business stakeholders and with other supporting development teams;
- Be comfortable giving routine updates to business stakeholders on project status;
- Understand business needs and prioritize delivering value to the client;
- Bring contributions, improvements, and think about the quality of the deliveries
- Perform peer code reviews and guide team through development best practices;
- One on one interaction with reports to coach the team aiming high performance and career development

Requirements

- Experience with leadership on IT projects;
- Experience with backend API development (preferred Python or Java Spring);
- Experience with end-to-end big data pipelines;
- Experience with SQL (queries, triggers, procedures);
- Experience with the deployment pipeline process;
- Experience talking with client;
- Ability to debug and quickly troubleshoot issues in production;
- Excellent English skills (conversation, conducting team and client meetings, analyzing and writing documentation);
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum);
- Good organization skills;
