Department Overview:

The James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business was created to foster excellence in real estate education, research, and outreach. The MS and MBA curriculum is distinguished by its hands-on approach to learning four specialized applied learning tracks:
Real Estate Core: Commercial Development
Private Equity Investment
Applied Real Estate Investment (REITs)
Affordable and Sustainable Housing Development

Students can attend real estate conferences and case competitions and benefit from access to industry leaders and an extensive global alumni network. Scholarships and fellowships are available, along with the opportunity for domestic and global study tours.

Qualifications:

Experience with designing, producing, and distributing original digital and print promotional materials for websites, marketing emails, social media platforms, and other special projects.
• Experience with Canva to create a library of customized social media templates.
• Experience with designing newslettersand marketing email banners.
• Ability to work collaboratively to maintain and improve Graaskamp Center’s digital presence.
• Other occasional responsibilities as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or equivalent graphic design experience. Detail-oriented, flexible, creative, and collaborative.
    • Coachable and motivated to incorporate feedback into design process.
    • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
    • Web development experience preferred but not required.

• Current UW-Madison student.

  • Photography and video experience would be helpful but not required.
    • If there is interest, the intern can also be engaged in supporting our social media accounts, review engagement analytics across websites, social accounts and email campaigns.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

  • Design, produce, and distribute original digital and print promotional materials for the Center website, marketing emails, social media platforms, and other special projects.
    • Create a library of customized Instagram templates.
    • Design newsletter website, and marketing email banners
    • Work collaboratively to maintain and improve Graaskamp Center’s digital presence.
    • Other occasional responsibilities as needed.
