As the global market leader in telecommunications infrastructure, CommScope is looking for an upbeat Senior Account Manager to join a successful, results-oriented team and drive our cutting-edge fiber-optic connectivity solutions offering in the region, serving our top tier customer and supporting our distribution network.

In this role, you’ll develop, grow, and maintain sales and manage service provider customer relationships at all levels in the Caribbean region. You will engage appropriate internal resources as necessary to support sales goals.

Proactively plan and direct sales activities in the respective regions through routine visits, customer training, and providing information on new products/solutions in order to achieve maximum results in the development of existing and new customers.

Your primary job focus will be driving Profitable Top-Line Revenue Growth by aligning and committing to the region's goals, developing relationships with Customers at all levels, tackling issues with a sense of urgency, taking a proactive approach, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and assessing account planning activities throughout the year.

Improve sales operational excellence by maintaining weekly forecasts to ensure predictability and reporting customer and market updates regularly.

Reinforce the distribution ecosystem and increase penetration in targeted segments by adjusting GTM, account planning, market intelligence and forecasting processes in the channels we are focusing on to drive our growth in these segments.

This role requires you to understand customers' business, technology, and product requirements and appropriately match solutions to meet customers' needs.

Performs revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow financial objectives. Provides information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.

Drives the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to presenting solutions and negotiating through the close. Using appropriate sales messaging favorably influences the selection of products, services or solutions in targeted accounts.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Five or more years of B2B sales experience in telecom, preferably in the infrastructure solutions segment.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish (written & spoken).
  • Experience working in a multinational company with a background in Telecommunications.
  • Great networking in the telecom industry.
