The Opportunity at Komodo Health

In this role, you’ll lead a team of consultants & data scientists, and work directly with Komodo Health customers to sell and ensure successful delivery of Komodo analytics consulting projects, driving customer value through attainment of their desired business outcomes.

The role requires comfort communicating, consulting, and partnering effectively with a diverse set of Life Sciences customers ranging from Commercial (Marketing, Sales, and Analytics), Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Market Access, and Real-World Evidence.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…

  • Obtained an advanced understanding of Komodo’s healthcare map, its application in reducing the burden of disease, and can sell the Komodo difference.
  • Facilitated high quality discussions with clients to better understand their needs, shape solutions, close new business, and deliver high impact results.
  • Contributed to the growth and development of the Analytics Consulting team through selling and delivering new and existing projects and expanding our reach with our customers.
  • Supported the growth of team members through ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborated closely with Product and Engineering teams to inform new analytics offerings; act as an internal advisor to provide deep industry and customer context

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Oversee the successful delivery of Analytic projects across several of our core offerings, including market landscaping, patient journey, line of therapy, referral, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success to develop and execute account plans to grow our Analytics Consulting practice.
  • Create, staff and grow a world class India based Analytics Consulting team, guiding them to high performance and professional growth.

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • You are an experienced Analytics Consulting leader: You have 10+ years of hands-on experience in life sciences analytics, including experience with patient-level data analytics, and a track record of success both selling and delivering a book of business
  • You are a problem solver: You demonstrate strong logical thinking and an ability to see patterns
  • You have a proficiency in quantitative reasoning: You understand the basics of data science, statistics, and predictive modeling and can use that knowledge to design client solutions
  • You have a flexible attitude: You adapt to changing environment; possess a willingness to attack problems from new angles
  • You are collaborative: You work effectively across internal groups
  • You are consultative: You identify and proactively offer recommendations based on observed insights
  • You are client service-oriented: You understand client needs and how to develop solutions to address them. You are comfortable presenting to clients at all levels and distilling complex topics and analyses into easy-to-follow and compelling narratives.
  • Advanced storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills, and experience owning high-profile customer relationships
  • Successful track record of developing business relationships with Life Science customers in Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Medical Affairs, or Market Access
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple customer relationships and projects with high quality and grace under pressure

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.$190,000—$294,000 USD

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
