The Manager, Sales, plays a pivotal role in driving AffiniPay’s revenue and growth by developing, motivating and guiding our payment sales team to meet and exceed quota. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and dynamic leader who excels at driving productivity, closing deals, and expanding relationships with existing customers.

In this exciting and challenging position, you will leverage your deep expertise in SaaS and payment sales methodologies to drive success. Your experience leading sales teams across various lead sources will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiencies and accelerating sales outcomes. With a strong focus on closing deals and maximizing revenue, you will use your knowledge of advanced sales tools, techniques, and customer experience to foster growth and scale the business effectively.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, develop and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed individual and team KPIs and goals. Foster a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development. Align sales activities with overall sales goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of targets. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and provide actionable feedback to drive improvement.
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the Payments team. Continuously evaluate and refine lead qualification processes to improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Enablement and Product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and target audience. Provide feedback and insights to enhance lead quality and sales processes.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategy.
  • Actively use Salesforce, Tableau, Gong and Outreach to manage sales processes and set standards for performance metrics
  • Ensure team productivity and efficiency by monitoring dashboards, reports, & productivity tools usage like Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Coordinate with senior sales management to maximize team collaboration and attain aggressive pipeline goals.

About You:

  • 2+ years sales management experience in SaaS and/or payments
  • 2+ year in inbound/outbound sales with proven track record of success
  • Experience leveraging prospecting tools and platforms such as SFDC, Gong and outreach (lead generation, email, phone, video, data enrichment & cleansing, etc.)
  • Ability to hire, onboard, and continuously train team members
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing company
  • Ability to successfully manage people to achieve performance goals
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships to meet shared goals
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • A commanding desire to succeed in sales leadership
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player attitude who also enjoys and thrives in healthy competition
  • Self-motivation to learn fast and pivot as the business develops
  • The ability to connect with potential customers and be confident in closing deals
  • Ideally located in Austin, TX with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity
