Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of marketing experience and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. This is not a management role but requires leadership in owning key marketing functions and collaboration across teams. As the right-hand person to the Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in executing marketing campaigns, managing communication processes, and ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to track and report the effectiveness of marketing efforts. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assess campaign performance and drive improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
- Own the development and execution of marketing campaigns for major holidays and key events (e.g., Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, brunch, pasta specials).
- Create and manage a marketing calendar to outline campaign timelines, deliverables, and channels.
- Oversee the production of campaign materials including posters, flyers, brochures, and digital assets.
- Determine campaign duration, evaluate effectiveness, and ensure alignment with brand goals.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Track and analyze data daily, weekly, and monthly, providing actionable insights to improve future efforts.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for leadership, showcasing campaign performance, ROI, and opportunities for optimization.
Team Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between marketing, operations, sales, and venue teams to ensure all stakeholders are informed of upcoming campaigns and initiatives.
- Send out memos, follow up with teams, and ensure smooth communication and execution.
Graphic Design Oversight:
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to the graphic design team on marketing materials to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
- Proof all marketing collateral for accuracy in spelling, dates, and times prior to release.
- Organize and communicate design requests in an easily readable format for the team.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and products.
- Oversee proofing, pricing, branding, and invoicing processes in collaboration with the accounting team.
Digital Media and Brand Alignment:
- Support paid digital media efforts, including oversight of campaigns to ensure brand alignment.
- Monitor gift card sales, social media strategies, and menu rollouts to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Verify digital platform information (e.g., Google, Apple Maps) for accuracy regarding business hours and
- venue details.
Local Store Marketing:
- Collaborate with the Community Marketing Director to support local store marketing efforts and ensure alignment with corporate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MUST have 5-8 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a multi-location setting.
- Proven ability to work with and guide a team of 3-5 individuals.
- Experience with project management for marketing campaigns and collateral creation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proof materials for accuracy.
- Hands-on experience working with vendors and managing budgets.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to liaising between departments and ensuring cohesive execution.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking performance metrics and presenting actionable insights.
- Ability to travel as required to support venues and initiatives.
