Graphics Engineer (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Graphics Engineer eager to push the boundaries of game development. While your core expertise will focus on graphics technology, we value team members who are adaptable and excited to explore and contribute to different facets of game development.

Your Game

• Implement and optimize cutting-edge graphical features to enhance Albion Online’s visuals
• Ensure graphics performance is smooth and efficient on PC, mobile & console platforms
• Design and optimize shaders for various effects, including lighting, materials, and post-processing
• Work with artists and designers to develop tools and solutions that empower the creative process
• Identify and resolve rendering bottlenecks and graphical issues
• Keep up with industry trends and innovations to ensure Albion Online remains visually competitive

Your Talent

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in graphics programming (C++, HLSL/GLSL, DirectX, or Vulkan)
• Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, shaders, and real-time graphics
• Experience optimizing graphics for multi-platform games, especially mobile and PC
• Familiarity with tools like Unity or similar engines
• Using any Graphics Debugging Tools (like Renderdoc / NVidia NSight etc.)
• Passion for MMORPGs and a good understanding of Albion Online’s gameplay and aesthetics
• Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with Unity's Builtin Renderpipeline and/or any of Unity's Scriptable Render pipelines
• Experience with stylized or top-down game visuals
• Knowledge of low-level graphics APIs (e.g., DirectX 12, Vulkan, or Metal)
• Background in physics-based rendering (PBR) or procedural content generation
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment
