Team Lead SEO / ASO

Promova is a one-stop language learning platform that includes a mobile app, conversation clubs, group classes and one-to-one lessons with tutors. We have a popular website, media presence, and active socials. Our app has been downloaded more than 16 million times, and our learners completed over 35 million lessons over the last few years. Our goal for the next 2 years is to secure a spot among top 5 online language learning services worldwide. Looking ahead, within the next five years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots!

Currently, we are looking for Team Lead SEO / ASO to join the Promova team.

The goal of this role is to effectively manage a team of six specialists and directly influence the development of organic traffic acquisition.

Your areas of impact:

• Developing an overall SEO and link-building strategy for the Promova website across various locales (EN, ES, PT, and others) and ensuring its execution.
• Continuously researching trends, competitors, insights, and new opportunities.
• Monitoring key SEO metrics.
• Conducting technical audits and assigning tasks to the development team to fix issues.
• Working on organic traffic conversion optimization.
• Managing a team of six specialists (copywriters, link builders, SEO specialists).
• Creating and overseeing the execution of an ASO strategy for the Promova app.

What you’ll need:

• 5 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3+ years in white-hat niches.
• 2+ years of experience in team management.
• 2+ years of SEO experience in English-speaking markets and within a product company.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Serpstat, Semrush, and SimilarWeb.
• Deep understanding of website ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and experience working with product analytics.
• Strong expertise in On-page, Off-page, and technical SEO optimization.
• English proficiency at B2-C1 level.

Interview process:

1. Pre-screen with a Recruiter (30 minutes).
2. Interview with Hiring Manager (1.5 hours).
3. Test task.
4. Bar-raising interview (1 hour).
