Position Summary

The (Temporary) PT Research Analyst is responsible for supporting reporting and analytics functions of the Office of Planning, Research, and Institutional Assessment (PRIA). The position will analyze institutional data and respond to internal data requests and external reporting mandates. The position also works closely with the analytics team to provide support in data retrievals and programming for maintaining Tableau dashboards. Overall, the Research Analyst provides support for the College’s institutional research framework and reporting compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform data analyses to support research and planning activities using appropriate software and statistical techniques. Respond to time-critical internal ad hoc requests for institutional information and statistical analyses, and compiles interpretation of results.
  
  • Use SPSS, Python, R, SQL and other tools to retrieve and analyze data and assist the office in responding to reporting mandates and data engineering.
  
  • Create Qualtrics surveys and assist with graphic designs and publications of research briefs as well as other office materials.
  
  • Other duties may be assigned by the AVP and the Senior Research Analyst.

Required Qualifications:

Experience using SPSS, Python, R, SQL and other tools to retrieve and analyze data and assist the office in responding to reporting mandates and data engineering.
