UI/UX Designer – Mission Control & UAV Operations (m/w/d) all levels

Your mission

• Design intuitive user interfaces for UAV mission control and surveillance platforms
• Develop real-time dashboards for drone operators, displaying telemetry, sensor data, and AI insights
• Optimize user workflows for mission planning, autonomous UAV control, and threat response
• Create interactive visualizations for 3D mapping, swarm coordination, and target tracking
• Work with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) principles to enhance usability in high-stress environments
• Collaborate with software, AI, and embedded teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Conduct user testing with defense, security, and industrial UAV operators

Your profile

• 3+ years experience in UI/UX design for real-time, mission-critical applications
• Strong expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Qt, Electron) for interactive UIs
• Knowledge of GIS-based visualization, 3D mapping, and real-time telemetry interfaces
• Familiarity with designing for touch, AR/VR, and multi-screen mission control setups
• Understanding of usability testing, accessibility, and operator workflow optimization

• Experience with military, aerospace, or industrial UX design
• Background in data visualization for AI-driven decision-making
• Knowledge of ROS2-based control interfaces and UAV swarm management
