Lead UX/Product designer

Complexio’s Foundational AI works to automate business activities by ingesting whole company data – both structured and unstructured – and making sense of it. Using proprietary models and algorithms Complexio forms a deep understanding of how humans are interacting and using it. Automation can then replicate and improve these actions independently.

Complexio is a joint venture between Hafnia and Símbolo, in partnership with Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, Trans Sea Transport and BW Epic Kosan.

We are creating a pivotal new role at Complexio that will drive both the short-term user experience excellence and the long-term productisation of our offerings.

Requirements

This individual will lead a team of 3–5 UX/UI and front-end developers and work across two primary responsibility tracks:

1. Supporting Use Case Pods

Collaborate with cross-functional pods to deliver high-quality user journeys, user experiences, graphics, and designs.

Ensure alignment of user experience efforts across all use cases, providing support to the newly hired front-end developers.

Be a key advocate for consistent and user-centric design practices across the organisation.

2. Strategic Product Design

Lead the mid- to long-term productisation efforts for Complexio, conceptualising future product ideas and driving them toward realisation.

Gather input and insights from key stakeholders, including the Product Manager, RD, market research, and the development team.

Build and maintain a robust catalogue of product ideas, refining them through structured gates and decision points.

Partner closely with our founders to evaluate, prioritise, and advance promising product concepts, linking them to RD initiatives and converting them into tangible products.

Act as a bridge between innovation and execution, ensuring ideas are actionable and aligned with Complexio’s vision.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Senior profile with several years of relevant experience in UX/UI design, product design, and team leadership.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong ability to listen, and capacity to draw inspiration from diverse sources. Must have a positive mindset, be energised, and inspire motivation within the team.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of UX/UI and front-end professionals, fostering collaboration and alignment with company goals.

This role is essential in shaping the user experience and long-term product vision of Complexio. The right candidate will be instrumental in bridging creativity, strategy, and execution, ensuring our products not only meet user needs but also drive innovation in the market.
