We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk / Data Entry Operator to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in various computer systems and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into company systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
Review and verify data for errors, inconsistencies, and completeness.
Ensure data is inputted in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
Perform routine data cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability of records.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
Assist with generating reports and summaries based on entered data.
Identify and escalate issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
Stay organized and track progress on various data-related tasks.
Communicate effectively with remote team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus).
Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
Strong typing skills (minimum of 40-50 words per minute with high accuracy).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
