Note: To be considered for our 2025 Summer Internship program you must be enrolled in a university degree program and cannot be graduating sooner than December 2025.

MUST reside in Europe to be considered.

Education Required: Currently pursuing an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MSc, MPH) in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacology, Epidemiology or a related discipline.

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship): The HEOR summer intern will actively contribute to oncology HEOR projects to gain real-world HEOR research experience, while developing relevant skills in project management, problem-solving, and strategy development, which will better prepare the intern for a future career in the healthcare industry. The intern will have the opportunity to work and interact with cross-functional teams and colleagues from Commercial, Medical and Market Access and interact with key stakeholders across BeiGene to understand the role of HEOR in the pharmaceutical industry.

Essential Functions of Internship: The intern will be involved in HEOR projects such as real-world evidence, epidemiology, burden of disease, health economic models, and supporting HTA submissions. The responsibilities of the intern will include but will not be limited to conducting, managing or participating in HEOR projects related to literature reviews, real-world data analyses, economic modeling, data communication, presentations and publications.

Other qualifications

  • Completed foundational courses related to health economics outcomes research or research methodology training
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Works well in teams with a collaborative spirit
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Computer skills required: PC literacy, MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); statistical analysis skills preferred
