HVAC Bookkeeper

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the HVAC business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  
• Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses related to HVAC services and products.
  
• Monitor and track financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  
• Generate financial reports, statements, and summaries to support decision-making and business operations.
  
• Collaborate with the management team to develop budget forecasts, financial goals, and cost-saving strategies.
  
• Utilize ServiceTitan software to record and track HVAC service orders, job costing, and customer invoicing.
  
• Coordinate with the service and sales teams to accurately capture service data and job details in ServiceTitan.
  
• Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and financial audits as needed.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HVAC business finances.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in the HVAC industry or related field.
  
• Proficiency in using ServiceTitan software for job management and invoicing.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial procedures, and reporting standards.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Relevant certifications or training in HVAC business management and finance is a plus.
