Position Summary
Our ABM and Demand Gen Marketing team is looking for an experienced content marketing manager to develop content that engages compellingly with a wide range of audiences. Because of the technical complexity of the subject matter (not everyone is in the know when it comes to the fine art of Identity & Access Management), that calls for more than content creation skills alone. You also need to grasp the underlying (tech) propositions, steer and expedite customer journeys (what content works when and why?) and shoot the breeze on social. Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
- Plan, create and distribute enticing and high-engaging content that supports our Demand Generation and Account Based Marketing campaigns
- Define the campaigns’ content strategy and ensure all campaigns are regularly fed with a variety of content types such as landing pages, videos, infographics, e-books, whitepapers, blogs and any other value-driven type of content
- Develop the value proposition and messaging for our campaigns in collaboration with other stakeholders, such as sales, business acceleration and product marketing
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice, so all content fully represents our brand’s DNA, while also allowing for deviations to up the relevance for specific audiences
- Conduct interviews with team members, subject-matter experts, and industry experts to create compelling written and video content
- Work closely with our creative specialists to script and produce high-quality videos, as well as adverts, infographics, one-pagers, and other impactful visual content
- Take ownership of the campaigns’ content development process from start to finish; meaning all project management from the ideation of a campaign to its execution and optimisation
- Team up with sales colleagues, product managers, and product marketeers to brainstorm on content ideas, co-develop content and ensure content is aligned with our organizational value proposition and brand style
- Research industry-related topics and stay up-to-date on the latest trend, as well as emerging audience needs and interests
- Collaborate closely with our ABM team, especially the ABM campaign managers and be an integral part when it comes to conceptualizing campaigns, creating content that fits each of the journey stages and moves prospects through the funnel
- Analyse content performance and make data-driven proposals to optimize future content and its distribution
As an ABM Content Marketing Manager, you are a member of the Revenue Marketing team where you’ll work with our ABM, MOPS, SDR, Channel and Paid Media colleagues. As mentioned in the intro, the role calls for a willingness to deep-dive into our solutions, so you can engage with tech-savvy audiences, such as CIOs, security architects, and privacy officers at enterprises and public organisations alike. What might they perceive as pitfalls? And how can we (read: your content) dispel those concerns? As for the scope: we are multi-channel so all media are in scope, including your preferred venues. Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language
- You combine a relevant degree with 5+ years of ‘hardcore’ content marketing, content creation, copywriting or similar experience, preferably in IT / SaaS settings
- You are versed in all types of content: short, long, commercial, creative, SEO, and social have all been crossed off your bucket list
- You have exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- You have a deep understanding of customer journeys, know your SEO from your SEA, and consider relevance, engagement, and conversion the Holy Content Trinity
- You carry the ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders, with excellent organizational and project management skills
- You bring a go-getter attitude - you take the initiative and roll up your sleeves to do what needs to be done
- English is your main language, any additional languages are a benefit
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Journalism, Copywriting, Content Marketing, Corporate Communications or similar
